Stage 1 · History
What has been done and when.
Four services for riders, all estimated in writing before work begins.
Valve clearances are the service item most often skipped because the interval is long and the job is not cheap. Skipping it is how a top end gets expensive. We service to the manufacturer's schedule and tell you what is genuinely due rather than everything at once.
What has been done and when.
Separated from due soon.
In writing, before we start.
With a road or dyno check after.
Tread, age, pads, discs and fluid.
What is urgent and what can wait.
Balanced and torqued correctly.
Tested before it goes back to you.
Brake fluid absorbs water and gets replaced on time here, because the failure mode is losing the brakes on a hot descent. Tyres are checked for age as well as tread — rubber hardens with years regardless of mileage, and an old tyre with good tread is still an old tyre.
Intermittent electrical faults are the hardest thing in a workshop, and the honest approach is to say so. We diagnose rather than replacing parts in sequence and billing you for each attempt, and we will tell you when a fault is proving difficult instead of quietly running up hours.
When it happens, and when it does not.
Measured, not guessed at.
What we found, and what we did not.
Authorised before it is carried out.
Checked before the job is booked.
Fitting quoted separately from parts.
Torqued and secured properly.
Flagged where a part affects it.
Happy to fit parts you bought online — we will quote fitting only and be clear that we cannot warrant a part we did not supply. We will also tell you before starting if something is the wrong fitment, which is more common with online purchases than anyone expects.
A free written estimate, and a call before anything extra gets touched.
